Hand Shadow objectives

Shadow Puppet activity will involve the use of voice and facial expressions of the children. The objectives are to stimulate and develop the student’s creativity and imagination.

The sequence of activities will be as follows:

-          Students will listen to the Peter and The Wolf story

-          Students will be introduced to hand shadow puppet history and supporting technologies.

-          Students will share ideas on how to make hand shadow puppets

-          Students will develop their imaginative skills in creating hand shadow puppets individually or in  group.

-          At the end of this unit, each group will be required to perform Peter and The Wolf story using  their hand shadow puppet. This performance will be assessed for summative task.
