Here's  examples of assessment rubric for the shadow unit that I prepared for the students.

Rubric 1



Criteria
Needs Improvement
Satisfactory
Good
Excellent
Self-confidence
The student does not show confidence at all.
The student shows confidence in some parts of the hand shadow presentation.
The student shows confidence in most parts of the hand shadow presentation.
The student shows confidence throughout the hand shadow presentation.
Creativity
The student was not able to create the hand shadow.

The student was able to create one or two hand shadow(s).

The student was able to create three or four hand shadows.

The student was able to create more than five hand shadows.

Express ideas individually
The student was very reluctant to express and contribute ideas individually.

The student sometimes expresses ideas but has difficulty in expressing them.

The student often expresses original ideas individually.

The student consistently expresses original ideas individually.


Willing to take risks
Student is not eager to try new approaches
Student tries something new occasionally
Student often tries new approaches
Student regularly tries to explore beyond the usual.
